The main issue in chapters 6-8 is the high mortality rates of childbearing woman living in impoverished areas. The main problem is that many of the women having children are children themselves. Their bodies are not adept or ready to bear a child and many women do not have the financial or social support and even if the babies are born healthy many of them die from not having their shots done. Woman get fistulas which create such a bad odor that many people do not wish to help them and often these women commit suicide.More needs to help woman regardless of their financial situation, it shouldn't be up to the doctors or other people to decide when not to help someone everyone deserves a fair chance.
